Sheridan Methuen

Sheridan Methuen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. They currently hold the position of Director of Business Development at Clinical Design Technologies Ltd., where they are involved in the growth and development of a digital point-of-care testing solution. Prior to this, Sheridan worked as the Director of Client Experience & Implementation at DGH Pharma. They also held various roles at Life Sciences Hub Wales, including Head of Partnerships and Head of Industry Engagement.

Earlier in their career, Sheridan was a Director at Consultaire LTD, where they focused on healthcare projects in India and worked as an NHS, Industry & Investor Liaison Officer. They were responsible for stakeholder engagement, investor relations, clinical service strategy design, operational systems workflow, and workforce planning. They also worked as a Rapid Recovery Manager at Biomet Orthopedics and as a Service Development Director at Zimmer Biomet, where they were responsible for designing and developing the UK Service & Solutions division.

Sheridan's work experience also includes roles at London South Bank University as a Senior Lecturer and at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust as an ODP and an Advanced Surgical Practitioner & Professional Development Advisor. They also worked at Nuffield Health as a Senior Lead Clinical Practitioner & Resuscitation Training Officer, where they developed and delivered a resuscitation training program. They began their career as an Operating Department Practitioner at Brighton and Sussex University Hospital NHS Trust.

Throughout their career, Sheridan has gained experience in business development, client experience, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and project management, particularly in the healthcare industry.

Sheridan Methuen has a diverse education history. Sheridan began their formal education in 1985 at London South Bank University, where they pursued a degree in Operating Department Practitioner. This program lasted from 1985 until 1987. After this, Sheridan returned to education later in life, attending the University of Brighton from 2000 to 2001. Here, they completed a Certificate in Education focusing on Professional Education. Finally, in 2001, Sheridan continued their studies at the University of Sussex, earning a BA HONS degree in Management in Education, which they completed in 2003.
