Alexia Marquez has extensive experience in the field of meeting and event planning. Alexia began their career in 1995 as a Meetings Assistant at IPMA-HR and later moved on to a role as a Meetings Assistant at the Water Environment Federation. In 2000, they became a Meeting and Membership Coordinator at IPMA-HR before joining the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in 2001 as a Meeting Planner. At FINRA, they were responsible for managing logistics for high-level corporate meetings and events.

In 2007, Marquez transitioned to the American Association of Airport Executives as a Senior Meetings Manager, where they planned and implemented a wide range of conferences and seminars on a yearly basis.

From 2013 to 2018, Marquez served as a Senior Meetings Manager at The Optical Society (OSA), where they successfully managed an annual conference with a large attendance and executed logistics for domestic and international meetings.

In 2018, Marquez joined EVERSANA INTOUCH as an Associate Director of Meeting Services, later progressing to the role of Director and then Vice President. In these positions, they played a critical role in overseeing meeting services and managing various projects.

Most recently, Marquez has taken on the role of Vice President of Meetings and Events at Clinical Education Alliance, starting in 2023.

Alexia Marquez obtained a Professional Certificate in Event Management from The George Washington University in 2005. Alexia also acquired the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation from the Convention Industry Council in 2006.
