Melba has been a licensed pharmacist since 1993. She graduated from the School of Pharmacy, UPR Medical Campus, PR in 1992. Her work experience includes working as a clinical pharmacist in two hospitals, as an IV compounding pharmacist in Baxter Healthcare, and as a Pharmacy Manager in various Health Plans, including Mapfre, COSVI and Medical Card Systems. Melba has also worked as a clinical pharmacist for a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (Optum Rx).
