John DeVerter

John DeVerter has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. John currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Clinical Trial Media since April 2022. From 2015 to 2021, they worked in real estate investment and renovation.

Prior to that, John worked at Cerner Corporation, starting in 1989. During their tenure at Cerner, they held various leadership positions, including Engineering Vice President - Innovations. In this role, they led projects to modernize and advance electronic health record (EHR) functionality, collaborated with internal teams and client partners, and drove the creation of innovative solutions. John also served as the Engineering Vice President - Physician Solutions, where they led the core EHR engineering teams and implemented initiatives to enhance the physician experience.

Before their leadership roles, John started as a Software Developer at Cerner and gradually advanced to become a Software Architect. John played a crucial role in the technology shift to an n-tier client-server platform and developed solutions using Visual C++, C++, and RDBMS.
