Nelson M. Handal, MD, DFAPA has been involved in the medical field since 2000. Nelson M. was the Founder & Owner of Dothan Behavioral Medicine Clinic from 2000 to 2006. In 2006, they became the Founder & Chairman of CLINICOM. Nelson M. also founded and owned Harmonex Neuroscience Research from 2007 to 2016. In 2016, they became the Chief Medical Officer of NLS Pharma AG.

Nelson M. Handal, MD, DFAPA completed their pre-med studies at Heidelberg University. Nelson M. then attended State University of New York Upstate Medical University to become an Adult Psychiatrist. Afterwards, they attended Universidad Mayor de San Andrés to obtain their Medical Doctor degree. Finally, they attended University of Miami Miller School of Medicine to become a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.
