Yingshi Qian

As Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources, Yingshi provides leadership to talent acquisition and management strategies, organizational development and training, and oversight of benefits and global compensation strategies.

Yingshi has over 20 years of human resource experience and held leadership roles in both the biopharmaceutical and financial service industries. Prior to joining the company in 2016 as Vice President of Human Resources, and later Senior Vice President of Corporate Transformation, she worked for Discover Financial Services China as HR Lead. Previously she spent 14 years at Pfizer where she was the Asia R&D Human Resource Lead, as well as Human Resource Lead at Pfizer China R&D Center, and business liaison to China Sales & Marketing. She led the human resource strategies and activities for business start-up and fast expansion, established a career ladder for R&D professionals, provided project leadership for setting up the Asia Regional Hub, and set up an advanced leadership certification program and professional degree program in collaboration with renowned universities in the US and China. Yingshi holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from The University of Strathclyde-Graduate School of Business.
