Jaakko Nurkka

Jaakko Nurkka has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jaakko is currently the Co-Founder & CTO of Cliniserve, where they are building a next-gen operating system for care operations in stationary care settings. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Analyst at Tutkimus- ja Analysointikeskus TAK Oy, designing and building reports on tourism in different regions of Finland. Jaakko also served as an Innovation Consultant at Reederei Claus-Peter Offen (GmbH & Co.) KG. Previously, Jaakko worked as a Product Strategy Consultant at Viessmann, where they were involved in a project on brick-and-mortar grocery retail. Jaakko also interned at Amazon Web Services, conducting research on business model transformations in the software industry. In addition, Jaakko gained experience at Allianz SE, where they worked as a working student in the Global Data & Analytics team. Jaakko also worked as a Product Development Consultant at Personio, leading a team to build a learning management feature for the HRM suite. Jaakko'searly experiences include internships at Cargotec Corporation in logistics coordination and SAP-implementation, as well as a sales negotiator role at Tutkimus- ja Analysointikeskus TAK Oy.

Jaakko Nurkka's education history follows a chronological progression from their high school education to their current studies. Jaakko completed their high school education at Kimpisen lukio from 2006 to 2009. Afterward, they attended Tampere University of Technology from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Tech.) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management.

Continuing their education, Jaakko then pursued exchange studies at the Technical University of Munich from 2013 to 2014. Jaakko furthered their studies at the same university, completing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Management & Technology (TUM-BWL) from 2014 to 2016.

Following their time at the Technical University of Munich, Jaakko joined the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) from 2015 to 2017. Jaakko obtained an Honours Degree in Technology Management at CDTM, specializing in the field of Technology & Management.

Jaakko's educational journey continued as they became a Visiting Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley in 2016. Jaakko is currently engaged in the field of Information Management at the university, showcasing their ongoing interest in expanding their knowledge and skills in this area.
