Sandi Chobany

Senior Quality Engineer, Sunquest Mitogen LIMS at CliniSys

Sandi Chobany has extensive work experience in the field of quality engineering and implementation analysis in the healthcare industry. Sandi started their career at Sunquest Laboratory in 1989 and held various positions including Senior Implementation Analyst and Senior Quality Control Analyst. In these roles, they were responsible for implementing laboratory systems and ensuring quality control through testing and certification processes. Sandi also worked as a Lead Quality Control Analyst for Sunquest Radiology, leading software releases and providing training to a global team. Sandi later became a Senior Support Specialist at Radiology Client Services, providing technical support to clients. Sandi then joined Sunquest Information Systems as an Interface Analyst, where they played a key role in implementing interfaced electronic laboratory records. Most recently, Sandi is working as a Senior Quality Engineer at Clinisys, where they are involved in testing molecular and genetics software and serving as a member of the Change Control Board.

Sandi Chobany has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Economics from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown. Sandi also holds an Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from Penn State New Kensington (The Pennsylvania State University). Sandi Chobany is additionally certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathology.
