Stacia Sump

Stacia Sump has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Stacia is currently the Director of Product Management, AI & Data Science at Clinisys, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Product Management, Anatomic Pathology at Clinisys from September 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Clinisys, Stacia worked at Roche for nearly a decade. Stacia'sroles at Roche included Global Marketing Squad Leader from March 2020 to August 2021, Senior International Product Manager from April 2014 to February 2020, and International Product Manager from August 2012 to March 2014. As the Global Marketing Squad Leader, they led a team responsible for delivering new products in the pathology business, implemented agile ways of working, and managed relationships with cross-functional teams.

Stacia also co-founded CheckIn LLC and served as the Co-Founder from August 2011 to August 2012. Prior to that, they worked at OpenText as a Senior Program Manager from November 2006 to August 2011. In this role, they managed the development of a flagship fax server product, led cross-company launches, implemented agile scrum development methodology, and facilitated training on new product releases.

Stacia'searly career was with Hewlett-Packard, where they worked as a Software Engineer and Technical Lead from May 1995 to August 2006.

Throughout their career, Stacia has demonstrated strong leadership, product management skills, and a focus on innovation and commercialization.

Stacia Sump completed their education at various institutions. Stacia first attended UNLV Lee Business School from 1990 to 1992, where they obtained a B.S. B.A. in Business Administration. Stacia then continued their studies at the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management, from 1992 to 1995, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management Information Systems. In 2011, they participated in the 2012 Venture Competition at the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management and won the title of Grand Champion in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Stacia went on to complete a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing at the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management, from 2015 to 2020.

Additionally, Stacia Sump has obtained several certifications. In 2007, they became a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance. In 2012, they received the Pragmatic Marketing Certified designation from Pragmatic Marketing. Most recently, in 2020, they obtained two certifications, namely Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist and Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager, from Scaled Agile, Inc.
