Meena Dam

Meena Dam has had a long and varied career in the clinical research services field. Meena began their career in 1990 as a Clinical Data Manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb. In this role, they prepared clinical data for use in US regulatory submissions, designed case report forms, reviewed CRF data and lab data, ran edit check programs, resolved inconsistencies, coded study data, maintained data bases for clinical trials, and used SAS to generate tables and patient data listings for statistical reports.

In 1999, Meena moved to Stat-Trade, Inc., where they served as a Clinical Project Manager. In this role, they performed project management activities, oversaw data management, programming, statistical and medical writing projects, conducted audits of raw and analyzed data, ensured compliance with FDA regulations and ICH guidelines, planned strategies for contacting potential clients, developed project proposal formats, communicated with clients and field CRAs, negotiated clinical services contracts, identified and evaluated domestic study sites, and negotiated site/investigator research agreements.

Meena began their role at Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc. in 2002, where they served as Senior Project Manager. In this role, they coordinated and managed activities associated with the medical imaging component of clinical trials, established and maintained partnerships with clinical trial sponsors, worked with sponsors to identify and document imaging requirements for trial protocols, defined and maintained project timelines, identified project budgetary requirements, designed Imaging Charters, Guidelines, Data Transmittal Forms, and other needed documents, provided sponsors with periodic reports of project status, conducted in-house project team meetings, presented imaging requirements and procedures at client-sponsored investigator meetings, conducted site initiation and site monitoring visits, coordinated the conduct of read sessions, and generated project-specific methodology reports.

Finally, Meena has been the CEO of ClinSmart since 2007. As CEO, they oversee all operations and business activities, builds trust relations and acts as a point of contact for key partners, analyzes situations and occurrences and provides solutions to ensure company growth, maintains awareness of both the external and internal competitive environment, opportunities for expansion, clients, markets, new industry developments and standards, and represents the organization for civic and professional association responsibilities and activities in the local community, the state, and at the national level.

Meena Dam obtained a Master Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University in 2008. Meena also earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois Chicago between 1981 and 1985. Additionally, they hold certifications in GCP and PMP from Villanova University.
