Azza HAMILA

Azza Hamila has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Azza began their career at Roche in 2006 as a Quality Control specialist. In 2007, they worked at Sanofi in a similar role before moving to Orphan Europe in 2008. At Orphan Europe, Hamila held multiple positions including Quality Pharmacist, where they supported the Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining the quality system, and later became the Quality Assurance Manager and Qualified Person. In these roles, they supervised and led quality-related programs across the organization and ensured compliance with quality standards.

In 2015, Hamila joined CLINUVEL PHARMACEUTICALS LTD as the Quality Assurance Manager. Azza was later promoted to the role of Head of Quality & Drug Safety in March 2018 and continues to contribute their expertise in maintaining and improving the quality systems at the company.

Azza Hamila completed their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in Pharmacie Industrielle from the School of Pharmacy University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in France from 2000 to 2008. In addition, they pursued a Master 2 degree in D\u00e9veloppement analytique et Contr\u00f4le des m\u00e9dicaments de synth\u00e8se et d\u2019origine naturelle from the School of Pharmacy University Paris Decartes Paris IV in France from 2006 to 2007.
