Craig Hanton

Craig Hanton has a diverse work experience in the legal and financial sectors. Craig began their career as a Financial Advisor at Scotiabank from 2013 to 2015. Craig then transitioned into the legal field, starting as a Mini Pupil (Legal Intern) at Magdalen Chambers in 2017. Craig then worked as an Articling Student and Summer Student at Barriston LLP from 2017 to 2019. In 2020, they joined Stephen Durbin and Associates as an Associate Lawyer, where they stayed until 2021. Craig also spent a brief period in 2021 as an Associate Lawyer at J K Hannaford Barristers. Currently, they are employed at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology, where they started as an Account Representative in 2021 and was promoted to Account Executive - Velocity in September 2022.

Craig Hanton completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics at Stony Brook University from 2010 to 2013. Craig then pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Honours) degree from the University of Exeter, completing it from 2015 to 2017. In terms of additional certifications, Craig obtained the Barrister & Solicitor certification from the Law Society of Ontario in 2019, a WestLaw Certificate from Thomson Reuters in 2015, and a Canadian Securities Course certification from the Canadian Securities Institute in 2014.
