Senior Product Designer at Clio

Madison Goddyn has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. They started their career at Softball City as a Recreation Assistant, where they efficiently coordinated events and tournaments. They then worked as a Receptionist at Peninsula Executive Suites and received praise for their adaptability and diligence.

Madison gained extensive knowledge of marine organisms and environmental stewardship while working as a Beach Hero Marine Interpreter for The Friends of Semiahmoo Bay Society in 2013 and 2014. They organized volunteer events, school presentations, and government field surveys, showcasing their ability to work with different demographics and in educational settings.

In 2014, Madison ventured into wildlife conservation as a Marine Mammal Rescue Intern at the Vancouver Aquarium. They assisted in rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned seal pups, gaining hands-on experience in medical procedures and caring for wild animals.

Madison also had customer service roles, including being a Customer Support Specialist at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology from 2016 to 2017 and a Customer Service Representative at Exit Canada in 2015. They excelled in facilitating inquiries, scheduling, and providing excellent customer experiences.

They joined AMS Safewalk as a Safewalk Driver in 2014 and safely escorted clients on campus at night, demonstrating professionalism and handling confrontational situations effectively.

Madison's journey in product design started with a practicum at Clio in 2019, where they gained practical experience. They then progressed to become a Junior Product Designer and eventually a Product Designer in 2021, contributing to creating cloud-based legal technology solutions.

Throughout their work experiences, Madison consistently received commendations for their efficiency, helpfulness, and ability to adapt to different work environments.

Madison Goddyn pursued their education in a range of fields. Madison began their studies in 2010 at The University of British Columbia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Applied Animal Biology in 2015. In 2013, Madison participated in an exchange program at the University of Sussex. From 2017 to 2019, they attended the BCIT School of Business + Media, earning a diploma in Digital Design and Development. In addition to their academic achievements, Madison obtained certifications in Email Marketing and Hootsuite Platform from HubSpot and Hootsuite, respectively, in January 2018. In 2018, they also completed the Explore French Immersion Program at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.
