Michael Cook

Michael Cook is the current Head of Engineering at Clipboard Health. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director of Engineering at Bazaarvoice, where they directed engineering teams in the successful systems and business integration of two core product lines at the center of the Curalate acquisition, on-site social commerce galleries and visual content syndication. Before that, they were the Director of Engineering at Curalate, leading engineering managers and IC engineers on multiple product teams across the full stack including the design, development, and operations of backend web services, frontend web applications, and cross platform mobile apps. Michael has also been tapped to drive engineering and product for new business ventures, responsible for rapid execution and finding product-market fit. Prior to Curalate, they were a Founding Engineer at Shelf Engine and the Founder of Careerflo. Michael started their career as a Senior SDE at Microsoft and later became a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon.com.

Michael Cook received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan in computer science. Michael then went on to receive certification from the University of Alberta and the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute in reinforcement learning specialization. Lastly, they received certification from DeepLearning.AI in deep learning specialization.

Their manager is Wei Deng, Founder & CEO. Michael Cook works with Scott Reider - VP, Controller, Ryan Hollander - Head of Sales, and Hannah Kim - Chief of Staff.
