Ruan Jacobs

Ruan Jacobs has worked in the medical and bioscience field since 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they were employed as an Independent Medical Representative, representing two major medical companies in South Africa. In 2015, they began working as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Boehringer Ingelheim. From 2017 to 2020, they held the role of Medical Science Liaison and Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at Novartis. In 2019, they also worked as a Freelance Medical and Biological Editor for Cactus Communications. Currently, they are employed as a Sales Development Representative at Clipboard Health, a position they have held since 2022.

Ruan Jacobs has a diverse educational background. Ruan has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Behavioral Genetics from the University of the Free State/Universiteit van die Vrystaat, obtained between 2012 and 2014. Ruan then went on to obtain an Honours in Conservation Genetics from the same university in 2017. In 2018, they began a Master of Science (MS) in Animal Genetics at the University of the Free State, which they completed in 2020. Ruan also attended Grey College, although the degree obtained is unknown. Additionally, they have obtained a certificate in Understanding Clinical Research: Behind the Statistic from Coursera in April 2020 and a CRICE Certificate from Masoom Training.
