Janel Brandon

Janel Brandon is a highly experienced software engineer currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at both Microsoft and Clipchamp since September 2021 and April 2021, respectively. Prior to these roles, Janel took a brief hiatus in early 2021 and served as an Instructor at Coder Academy from June 2018 to March 2021, leading full-stack web development courses. Janel's extensive career also includes significant positions at SAP, where Janel worked as Manager of Engineering and Lead Software Developer from June 2015 to May 2018, and a crucial role at IBM-Paxus from November 2011 to June 2015 as an AIX Virtualisation Specialist. Janel's foundational experience at IBM from 1999 to 2011 spanned various positions, ultimately contributing to the development of PowerHA SystemMirror for AIX and managing technical training. Janel holds a BA in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
