Alfred Hooi

Alfred Hooi has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Alfred currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Clipsal Solar since 2022.

Prior to this, Alfred held the position of VP of Business Operations / Support Operations at Airtasker from 2016 to 2021. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in scaling the company's revenue, expanding its operations to the UK and US, achieving positive cash flow, and successfully leading an IPO. Alfred also implemented strategic initiatives to enhance the support team's performance, resulting in improved response times, first-time resolution rates, and reduced support costs.

Before Airtasker, Alfred worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Delivery Hero Australia from 2011 to 2016. In this role, they managed various business operations, including contact centers, IT teams, and restaurant invoicing and settlements. Alfred was also responsible for offshoring customer support and other operational functions to Manila.

During this time, they contributed to cost savings and process improvements in the airline catering and mining industries through process reengineering, consolidation, business case development, and IT cost reduction initiatives.
