Ben Raynor

Ben Raynor has worked in the renewable energy space since 2015. Ben began their career as a Solar Monitoring Technician at SunEdison, where they monitored over 600 MW of solar installations in North America and gained operational knowledge and experience with many monitoring platforms. Ben then moved to TerraForm Power in 2016, where they served as ROC Utility Project Operator II and monitored and controlled over 3.5 GW of utility-scale solar and wind farms over seven time zones in North America. In 2018, they joined Arbox Renewable Energy as a Product Manager, where they managed the software development and product design teams for an Asset Management ERP software. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Clir Renewables as a Senior Project Engineer.

Ben Raynor obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours in Environmental Science from Trent University from 2007 to 2012. Ben has also obtained a number of certifications, including the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance in April 2020, the 2017 Supply and Demand Resource Operator Training from ISO New England Inc. in April 2017, and a range of courses from Coursera and The Linux Foundation from April 2020 to December 2020.
