Gonzalo Gomez Romero has a wealth of experience in the corporate world. Gonzalo began their career in 2012 as a Lawyer, Corporate & Compliance for Moltedo Law Firm. In 2015, they joined the Ministry of Production, Federal Government of Argentina as a Legal Advisor. During their time there, they analyzed and structured debt restructuring processes, developed a PPP project, and participated in the creation of tax-free zones for the tech industry. In 2017, they became the Chief of Staff for the Secretary of Internal Commerce and the President of the Argentine Accreditation Body. In 2020, they co-founded and became the CEO of Buonsenso, a logistics start-up providing warehousing and distribution services B2B. In 2021, they joined Control Union as a Project Manager and developed a business plan for the Mining Sector in the Americas. Most recently, they began working as an Operations Manager at Clir Renewables, where they work with the VP of Operations to develop, maintain, and action on organizational health insights.
Gonzalo Gomez Romero is currently studying for a Master of Business Administration - MBA at the UBC Sauder School of Business, which they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2022. Gonzalo previously obtained a Lawyer degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires' in 2014, after studying Law from 2008 to 2014. Gonzalo has also obtained additional certifications from Bloomberg LP and DataCamp, including Bloomberg Market Concepts in April 2021 and Intermediate Python in March 2021.
