Marco Bianchini has over 18 years of experience in the renewable energy and construction industries. Marco began their career in 2001 as a Geophysical Team Leader for Geoexplorer LCC. In 2002, they joined the Engineer Corps of the Italian Army as a Second Lieutenant. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as a Project Manager for Edil Service snc, overseeing construction sites. Marco then moved to Ballast Nedam as a Project Manager for Contaminated Land Remediation from 2007 to 2010. During this time, they were responsible for project management, project administration, and health and safety. In 2010, they enrolled in an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems at Loughborough University, where they studied solar and biomass energy, wind energy, water power, integration of renewables, and sustainability and energy systems. Marco then completed an internship in solar energy at Isotrol in 2013. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Project Engineer for Wind Farms Operations at Gaelectric. Marco then moved to CGN Europe Energy as a Wind Asset Manager from 2018 to 2019. Most recently, they have been a Project Engineer at Clir Renewables since 2019.
Marco Bianchini completed an MSc in Renewable Energy Technologies from Loughborough University in 2013 and an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2001. Marco also holds certifications from Coursera Course Certificates for "Using Python to Access Web Data" obtained in July 2016, as well as a certification for "Working at Height".
