Ayal Spitz

Ayal Spitz has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Ayal currently serves as the Director of Mobile Engineering at Cloaked since April 2021. Prior to this, Ayal founded BlackGecko in 1999. Ayal has also worked as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Accenture Interactive's Intrepid Studio from July 2017 to April 2021. Ayal served as a Principal Software Engineer at Intrepid Pursuits from August 2016 to July 2017. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Localytics from March 2014 to August 2016 and as a Senior Software Engineer at PatientKeeper from April 2012 to March 2014. Ayal has gained valuable experience at MITRE Corp, where they held positions such as Lead Software Engineer from December 2000 to April 2012, and Senior Software Engineer from June 1997 to December 1999. Ayal also served as a Lead Software Engineer at PersonalGenie from December 1999 to December 2000. Ayal started their career at MarketPlace/iMarket, where they worked in tech support from 1992 to 1996.

Ayal Spitz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Brandeis University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Ayal later pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from Tufts University, from 2006 to 2008. In between their undergraduate and graduate studies, Ayal also obtained a Master of Arts degree in Computer Science from Brandeis University, completing their studies in the year 1997.
