Sarah de Val has worked in the logistics industry since 2003. Sarah began their career at Maersk Line as an Assistant Manager in Capacity Management, and later progressed to Manager of Area Route Management, and then General Manager. In 2010, they moved to Supreme Group as Transport Contract and Business Support Manager, before joining United Arab Shipping Company (S.A.G.) as a Project Manager in 2012. In 2021, Sarah began their current role as Director of Customer Success at ClockWork Logistics Systems. Throughout their career, Sarah has contributed to devising negotiation strategies, building uniform and cohesive responses to customer RFPs, ensuring contracts with global RoRo carriers are executed and serviced, modernizing processes, and drafting, analyzing, and negotiating transporter contracts.
Sarah de Val graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics. Her studies included Micro/Macroeconomic Theory, Public Finance, and International Trade Theory.
