James Donahue

James Donahue, CEM has a long and varied work experience. James began their career in 2006 as a Trail Crew for the Appalachian Mountain Club. In 2009, they took on a Field Engineer role for Sovereign Consulting Inc. In 2011, they returned to Control Consultants Inc. as a Design Engineer. In 2014, they were a Graduate Student at HKUST. From 2015 to 2020, they held two positions at Control Consultants Inc., first as an Application Engineer and then as an Engineering Manager. In 2020, they became Manager of Special Projects at Navitas System Integration. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Partner Success Manager at Clockworks Analytics.

James Donahue, CEM is a highly educated individual. James obtained their Master's Degree in Intelligent Building Technology and Maintenance from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Environmental Engineering from Lehigh University in 2008. James also attended Thayer Academy from 2000-2004. In addition to their formal education, James has obtained several certifications, including Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers in February 2019, Distech Controls Training from Distech Controls in December 2017, Niagara Analytics Certification from Tridium in July 2017, SkySpark Essentials from SkyFoundry in April 2016, Energy & Environmental Optimization Certification from Honeywell in December 2015, Niagara 4 Certification from Tridium in October 2015, and Niagara AX Certification from Tridium in October 2013. James also holds an Engineer In Training certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
