Kim D. has held various roles in the healthcare IT industry since 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Program Manager for an Independent Contractor, where they consulted medical practices on IT needs and managed product design, development, and implementation projects. Kim then moved to Orlando Family Health Center in 2016 as a Project Manager, where they directed organization-wide integration of the Electronic Health Record (EMR/EHR) and Electronic Revenue-Cycle Management (RCM) platform. Kim D. has an extensive educational history. Kim obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physical and Biological Anthropology from the University of Central Florida in 2013. Kim then attended Valencia College, where they earned an Associate of Arts in Biology/Biological Sciences, General in 2010. In 2018, they returned to the University of Central Florida and earned a Master's degree in Health Services Administration in 2021. Kim D. has also obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, AdventHealth, and HealthARCH (formerly the UCF Regional Extension Center).
