Alastair Wilson

Alastair Wilson is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management, currently serving as Senior Investment Director at Close Brothers Asset Management since August 2019. Wilson has held various significant roles including Investment Committee Member at the International Bar Association and Trustee for the James Clerk Maxwell Cancer Trust. Previous positions include Director/Trustee and Chairman at Cattanach, and Investment Management Director at Brooks Macdonald. With a career spanning over three decades, Wilson has also worked as Executive Director at Adam & Company and Investment Director at BWD Rensburg. Educational qualifications include becoming a Fellow of The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, an MBA from Strathclyde Business School, and additional degrees from the University of Glasgow and the University of Strathclyde.
