Tim Renshaw

Tim Renshaw has a diverse work experience in the field of operational risk and compliance. Tim is currently the Group Head of Operational Risk and Compliance at Close Brothers, a position they assumed in July 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of Operational Risk and Data Protection Officer at Close Brothers from February 2017 to July 2021. Before joining Close Brothers, Tim worked at Morgan Stanley as a Vice President from October 2009 to November 2013. Tim also has experience at Ernst & Young, LLP, where they served as an IT Security Consultant from June 2005 to October 2009. During their time at Ernst & Young, Tim worked on complex IT risk and security projects for global banking, asset management, and insurance firms. Tim was selected for a secondment to foster greater cooperation between the US and UK information security practices, relocating from New York to London in August 2008.

Tim Renshaw graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Economics. Tim then went on to obtain their CRISC certification from ISACA in February 2014 and their CISSP certification from (ISC)2 in November 2007. Tim also had some education at UNSW, but specific details such as the degree name and field of study are not provided.
