Andy Tham

Andy Tham has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Andy started their career as a Trainee LAE at ST Aerospace in August 2008 and gained valuable skills in aircraft maintenance operations. In June 2013, they became a B1.1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer at ST Aerospace, where they performed various duties such as inspections, defect rectifications, and troubleshooting. Andy also held type ratings for B777 with PW4000 and GE90 engines, as well as A320 with IAE V2500 and CFM56 engines. Additionally, Andy had experience in engine removal and was responsible for planning and prioritizing daily jobs to meet milestone targets. Andy also engaged with customer representatives to ensure smooth operation. In May 2020, Andy joined SIA Engineering Company as a B1.1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer, further expanding their expertise in the field. Andy then transitioned to Jetstar Airways in November 2020, where they served as a Technical Compliance Coordinator, overseeing heavy maintenance operations and ensuring compliance with AMPM procedures. In January 2022, Andy was promoted to the role of Lead Technical Compliance Coordinator at Jetstar Airways.

Andy Tham completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, from 2004 to 2008. Andy obtained additional certifications in the field of aviation, including an Airframe & Powerplant certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in February 2018 and a SAR 66 B1.1 License from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore in June 2013.
