Tiraneh Tehranchian

Tiraneh Tehranchian has extensive work experience in the financial industry. They started their career in 1994 as an Associate at JP Morgan and later worked as Deputy Head of Market Risk Unit at the Financial Conduct Authority from 1996 to 1998. They then joined Abbey National Treasury Services as a Risk Manager from 1998 to 2003.

In 2004, Tiraneh became the Head of Risk at Man Group's Man Global Strategies division, a position they held until 2008. They then joined Matrix Group Limited as Head of Risk from 2010 to 2011, and later worked as an Investment Risk Consultant at Alpha Concepts Limited from 2012 to 2014.

From 2017 to 2018, Tiraneh worked as a Risk Management Consultant at EY before joining Close Brothers in 2018 as the Head of Internal Audit, a position they currently hold.

Tiraneh Tehranchian holds a BSc (Eng) degree in Civil Engineering from UCL. Tiraneh also obtained a Post Graduate diploma in Computing from Imperial College London. Additionally, Tiraneh Tehranchian is an ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) from ICAEW.
