Jay Hallen, CFA, currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Close Up Foundation since 2025. Previously, Jay held the role of Chief Financial Officer at JOOLA from October 2022 to February 2025, overseeing financial planning and analysis, controller functions, and compliance in a rapidly growing sporting goods company. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Manager of Card Finance at Capital One, managing financial aspects of Card Fraud and CreditWise divisions, and working as a Principal Consultant at Capco. Jay also worked as Vice President at BlackRock in the Financial Markets Advisory practice and as Assistant Director at Moody's Analytics, focusing on loan and fixed income credit risk consultation for financial institutions. Educational credentials include an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Yale University.
