W. Michael House is currently a Board Member at CLOSE UP FOUNDATION. Prior to this, they were the Health Policy Assistant at ARKANSAS ADVOCATES FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES from August 2020 to July 2021. In this role, they assisted in the implementation of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Lived Experiences Grant with partnership of Georgetown Center for Children & Families. In this role, they assisted the Executive Director & Development Director in nonprofit development, including fundraising and event coordinating. W. also attended Board Meetings & School Board Meetings. Prior to this, they were an Intern at CASA of Northwest Arkansas from January 2018 to May 2018. Prior to this, they were a Graduate Assistant at University of Arkansas School of Social Work from August 2019 to May 2020. Prior to this, they were an Intern at District Court of Crawford County, Arkansas from July 2018 to July 2018. Prior to this, they were a Front Desk Receptionist / Lifeguard at Washington Regional Center for Exercise from August 2016 to March 2020.

W. Michael House has a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Arkansas Graduate School with an emphasis on policy. W. also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in political science and government from the University of Arkansas. W. has also taken courses in political science and government at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. Van Buren High School is their alma mater.
