Raymond Hugel

Ray is responsible for supporting the activities of Closed Loop Partners’ private credit funds with a focus on underwriting, structuring, and executing new transactions.

Prior to joining Closed Loop Partners, Ray spent nine years with Macquarie Group’s Credit Markets Division, where he helped build and support the team’s asset backed lending efforts. This covered a wide array of sectors, including energy efficiency, solar, real estate, and consumer work. He has worked with both corporations and institutional investors structuring creative solutions to meet their financing needs.

Ray graduated from Villanova University with a BBA in Finance and International Business. He also holds a Sustainability Excellence credential issued by the International Society of Sustainability Professionals.
