Andi Thieman

Andi Thieman currently serves as the Director of Operations at Closegap, a mental health initiative aimed at enhancing support for K-12 students, since March 2023. Prior to this role, Andi founded PennyLoafer, a subscription-based service promoting charitable giving in areas such as climate change and education from April 2021 to September 2023. Andi's experience includes positions as a Planning and Innovation Analyst at Allegheny County Department of Human Services and as an Associate at Procopia Nonprofit Consulting. Additional roles include Resident Engagement Specialist at the University of Pittsburgh and Foundation Coordinator at The Birmingham Foundation. Andi's earlier professional experience includes roles in customer success, account management, and teaching English as a second language. Andi holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Community, Environment, and Development from Penn State University.
