Matthew Newman

Matthew Newman, CPA has worked as the Vice President & Controller at Closet Factory since February 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Controller from December 2020 to January 2022. Before joining Closet Factory, Matthew worked at Deloitte, where they held the positions of Audit and Assurance Senior Assistant from August to December 2020, Audit and Assurance Assistant from September 2019 to August 2020, and Audit Intern from June to August 2018.

Matthew Newman, CPA, completed their education in accounting and finance at Florida State University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's degree. Matthew further advanced their education by pursuing a Master's degree in accounting at the University of Miami Herbert Business School from 2018 to 2019. Prior to their university education, Matthew attended Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School from 2010 to 2014, although the specific degree or field of study during this time is unknown. In September 2020, Matthew obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
