Alex Peña

Alex Peña has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as a Field Organizer for John McCain's U.S. Senate campaign in 2014. Following that, they worked as a Statewide Field Representative for Proposition 123: Arizona Education Finance Amendment, responsible for volunteer outreach and recruitment.

In 2017, Alex joined the State of Arizona as a Policy Assistant to Governor Doug Ducey & Office of Education. Their responsibilities included legislative bill tracking, policy research, event logistics, and managing social media platforms. They also gained experience in drafting press releases and media advisories.

From 2019 to 2020, Alex worked as a Marketing & Events Coordinator for the Arizona Commerce Authority. They assisted in managing and organizing external and internal events, developed reporting systems for social media metrics, and maintained relationships with community partners.

In 2021, Alex became a Community Outreach Coordinator for the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission, focusing on public participation efforts for the redrawing of legislative and congressional districts in Arizona.

In 2022, they assumed the role of Director of Coalitions for Karrin For Arizona, where they engaged community partners to build coalition membership and coordinated event planning related to the coalition's mission and goals.

Currently, Alex works as a Special Projects Manager for Cloth & Flame.
