John Norton has over 30 years of experience in all facets of IT. Currently, Mr. Norton is performing cybersecurity-related work for a large federal agency in Washington D/C. Recently, he was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the New York State Health and Human Services Clusters where he was responsible for providing oversight of IT services, including application development, Customer Relationship Management, security, and strategic planning, for all the Health and Human Services agencies within New York State, as well as the NYS Department of Labor. Working closely with the Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services, the agency heads, and their executive teams, as well as Enterprise and Cluster PMOs, John played a critical role in balancing the cluster’s portfolio to meet the needs of the agencies and the state of NY.
