Prior to Full Harvest, Nicolas served as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Founder of CodeBoxx, a technology fellowship program that trains individuals to become skilled developers. Nicolas also founded and served as the CEO of Cloud Body Corporation, a company focused on using technology to improve individuals' health and well-being.

Nicolas has also held notable positions in major companies such as Walmart eCommerce, ModCloth, The RealReal, and vente-privee USA. At Walmart eCommerce, they were the CTO of the Digitally Native Vertical Brands division and played a crucial role in transitioning ModCloth from an independent company to a subsidiary of Walmart eCommerce. As the CTO of The RealReal, Nicolas led a complete turnaround of the company's technology strategy, resulting in significant revenue growth. Additionally, they served as the CTO of vente-privee USA and vente-privee.com, where they were responsible for the development and deployment of mobile and web presence.

Nicolas Genest has pursued education in various fields throughout their career. In 1997, they attended Cégep Garneau and obtained an Engineering Degree in Technology and Information Management. Following this, from 2005 to 2007, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B Sc) from the University of Phoenix, specializing in Business and Public Administration. In 2019, Nicolas enrolled at Harvard University, where they completed the Business Analytics Program with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Additionally, from 2019 to 2020, they participated in the Harvard Business Analytics Program, further enhancing their analytical skills. In 2021, Nicolas pursued the Integral Leadership Program at the Stagen Leadership Academy, where they focused on Organizational Leadership. Beyond traditional education, Nicolas has obtained additional certifications, including the Stagen Integral Leadership Program from Stagen Leadership Academy in June 2022 and Business Analytics from Harvard Business Analytics Program in January 2020.
