Chris Roberts

Chris Roberts is the Chairman and CEO of Cloud Imperium Games, a position held since January 2012, focused on developing the crowdfunded game Star Citizen. Previously, Chris served as Chief Creative Officer at Bl!nk Media International from August 2008 to October 2011, and as CEO of Ascendant Pictures LLC from 2002 to 2010, as well as CEO of Digital Anvil Inc. from 1996 to January 2001. Chris's career also includes a role as Vice President of New Technology at Electronic Arts / Origin Systems Inc. from 1987 to 1996. Chris's educational background includes studies at The University of Manchester and Manchester College, UK, where coursework involved advanced levels in Maths, Physics, and Electrical Engineering, alongside foundational studies at Parrs Wood High School.
