Cloud Imperium Games
Lars den Herder is an experienced game designer currently serving as Mission Designer III at Cloud Imperium Games since May 2022, following a title change after internal team restructuring. Prior roles at Cloud Imperium included Systems Designer II and III, where Lars contributed to the Mission Feature Team by creating modular missions and gameplay loops, as well as scripting their initial implementation. Previous experience includes a position as Game Designer and Junior Game Designer at Electric Square, and a Technical Level Design Internship at Slightly Mad Studios. Lars holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Game Architecture and Design from Breda University of Applied Sciences, along with a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering from Technische Universiteit Delft. Early educational background includes A2-Level qualifications from The British School in the Netherlands and VWO from Dalton Voorburg. Additional work experience includes roles in customer service and sales.
