Simon Bursey is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in UI/UX and art direction within the video game industry. Currently serving as Senior Lead UI UX Designer at Cloud Imperium Games since October 2018, Simon leads the UI team in developing high-end sci-fi user interfaces for major projects, including Star Citizen and Squadron 42. Prior roles include UI Director at Cloud Imperium Games, Lead UI Designer at Codemasters, and Head of Art at Sproing Interactive Media GmbH, where Simon guided artistic vision and team productivity. Simon's background also includes significant contributions to notable titles, such as Ryse: Son of Rome at Crytek and several key PlayStation titles at Sony Bigbig Studios, where Simon co-founded the studio. Educationally, Simon holds a BSc (Hons) in Visualisation with First Class Honours from Teesside University.
