Tom Rout

Tom Rout is an experienced cinematographer and director of photography based in Manchester, UK. Currently serving as a cinematographer at Cloud Imperium Games since August 2022, Tom Rout oversees cinematography for a weekly video series and live streams focused on the development of Star Citizen, collaborating with various production teams and freelancers. As the director of photography for Tom Rout Cinematography since July 2016, Tom Rout has worked on a diverse range of projects including narratives, branded content, and music videos. Previous experience includes roles as a filmmaker at Hart Wilcox and Green Spark Productions, where Tom Rout contributed to large conferences, exhibitions, and business videos for notable clients. Tom Rout holds a degree in Physics with Theoretical Physics from Manchester University, completed from 2009 to 2011.
