Jose Alvares has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jose currently holds the position of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Cloud Odyssey. Prior to that, they worked as the Commercial Director & Head of Alliances at Valcon, leading various capabilities within data engineering, data management, data platforms, and data science. Jose also served as the Vice President of Sales - Head of Data & Analytics, EMEA at Coforge. Before joining Coforge, they worked as a Global Client Director, Strategic Accounts & Alliances at NTT. Additionally, they have experience as a Regional Sales Director at Europ Assistance and as a Co-Founder / CSO (Chief Sales Officer) at Bridge Interactive. Jose began their career as an Account Manager at Dimension Data and later became a Sales Executive at Dell Technologies.
Jose Alvares has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Information Management Systems, specializing in Business & Computing from the University of the Witwatersrand. Jose also pursued a degree in Management, specifically Business Administration and Management, General, from Henley Business School. In addition, they hold certifications in Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant from Salesforce, Microsoft Azure Sales from Microsoft, and a MEDDPICC Masterclass certification from MEDDICC.
