Larry Wambolt

Larry Wambolt has over thirty years of experience in the coal mining industry. Larry began their career as an accountant and soon moved into financial analysis and management. In 2000, they became the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for Foundation Coal Corporation. Larry held this position for six years before moving to Cloud Peak Energy, where they are currently the Director of Commercial Planning & Analysis.

Larry Wambolt completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting at University of Wyoming, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at University of Wyoming. Larry also attended Cody High School.

Their manager is Gil Nathan, President & CEO. They are on a team with Darryl Maunder - Director Environmental and Regulatory Affairs, Tracy Breinholt - Chief Information Officer, and Denis Gorgemans - Director of Internal Audit.
