Tal Shapira

Tal Shapira is a seasoned professional in the technology and cybersecurity fields, currently serving as a Co-Founder at Reco and an AI Control Framework Working Group Member with the Cloud Security Alliance. With a background that includes co-founding a stealth mode startup and holding the position of Head of Algorithms at Guardian Optical Technologies, Tal has a proven track record in algorithm research and development, particularly in automotive applications. Previous roles at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel encompassed various leadership positions in cyber security R&D and data science. Tal's academic credentials include a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University, alongside a PostDoc from Reichman University and a B.Sc. in Physics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
