Alexandru Cimpanu

Alexandru Cimpanu has a diverse work experience in software engineering roles. Alexandru is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Cloudbeds since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Micro Focus from 2017 to 2022, where they held the role of Senior Software Engineer. During their time at Micro Focus, Alexandru worked on building products like Robotic Process Automation and Operations Orchestration, leveraging full stack technologies. Alexandru also served as an acting Scrum Master and had a brief stint as a Product Owner. Before that, they worked at msg systems Romania as an Associate Software Engineer from 2016 to 2017, where they developed and maintained a UI framework and gained experience in Spring and Java environments. Alexandru started their career as an intern at ISDC in 2015, where they gained hands-on experience in front-end web development with Angular.js and RESTful back-end environments.

Alexandru Cimpanu attended the Technical University of Cluj Napoca from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In addition, they have earned several certifications, including a Certificate in Advanced English (C2) from Cambridge English Language Assessment in July 2012, ECDL Core certification from ECDL Foundation in 2010, Certified SAFe 4 Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2018, and Cisco IT Essentials certification from Cisco in 2011.
