Marco Santos has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Marco began their career at HRG as a Group Air Administrator on the GSK team from November 2005 to November 2006. Marco then joined Rennies Travel as a Travel Manager from May 2007 to February 2012. Marco then transitioned to American Express Travel Services as an Operations Manager from March 2012 to November 2014. Marco then returned to Rennies Travel as a Global Operations Manager from December 2014 to April 2015.

In May 2015, Marco joined Massmart as a Corporate Travel Manager, where they were responsible for overseeing the group corporate travel program in South Africa and working closely with the Walmart global travel team. Marco held this role until May 2017. Concurrently, from March 2016 to May 2017, they also worked as the Director of South Africa for GBTA | Global Business Travel Association.

From April 2018 to August 2020, Marco served as Co-Founder of Travazul. Marco then joined Majorel in August 2020 as an Order Support Consultant, where they provided back office order support, made outbound calls and emails related to shipping investigations and order maintenance, and assisted the team as a Floor Walker. This role lasted until July 2021.

In July 2021, Marco started working at Cloudbeds as a Customer Coach, and in June 2022, they were promoted to Senior Customer Coach. Marco currently holds this position, providing coaching and support to customers.

Additionally, Marco owns and operates a European travel blog called Travel-Boo, where they create content as the Owner and Content Creator since April 2019.

Marco Santos completed a Diploma in Travel & Tourism with a focus on Tourism and Travel Services Management at Richtek College (now uMfolozi College) from 2002 to 2003. In 2016, they attended the University of the Witwatersrand for a Management Advance Program (MAP) in the field of business management.
