Paul Penney

Paul Penney is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cloud operations and sales support, currently serving as Director of Global Cloud & Technical Operations at Cloudera since January 2019. In this role, Paul focuses on developing metrics and strategies to enhance customer engagement with Cloudera's PaaS and SaaS offerings. Prior to this, Paul held various positions at Hortonworks, managing Deal Desk operations across EMEA and contributing to the merger with Cloudera. Additional roles include global sales operations and renewals management at Nuix and VMware, highlighting strong skills in team development, operational scale, and deal optimization.
