Avani Wildani

Avani Wildani is a Research Manager at Cloudflare, leading a team focused on AI, privacy, and systems/formal methods since February 2022, contributing to advancements in networking and cryptography. Previously, Wildani served as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Emory University, exploring connections between neural architecture and distributed computational systems from August 2015 to August 2023. Wildani's research experience also includes a postdoctoral role at the Salk Institute, investigating the visual cortex, and various internships at organizations such as IBM and Google, where important contributions were made to data analysis and system optimizations. Wildani holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz, a Master of Science in Machine Learning from The University of New Mexico, and a dual Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Harvey Mudd College.
