Hugo Rooney

Hugo Rooney is an experienced sales professional currently serving as an Enterprise Account Executive for Gaming & iGaming at Cloudflare since December 2023. Prior to this role, Hugo held positions as Regional Sales Lead for the Nordics at Edgio from June 2022 to September 2023, following the merger of Edgecast and Limelight Networks. Hugo also served as Senior Field Sales Partner for EMEA at Edgecast and previously at Verizon Media Platform, where significant achievements included securing top new billings and new logos. Early career experience includes a Sales Development Representative role at Akamai Technologies, consistently surpassing sales targets, as well as several positions in recruitment and customer service. Hugo holds a degree in Politics from the University of East Anglia.
