Matt, CEO and Managing Partner of Rose Park Advisors, is a highly successful investment manager focused on making investments in companies whose strategies are based on harnessing the benefits of Disruptive Innovation.

Prior to starting Rose Park Advisors more than 15 years ago, Matt was formerly a Senior Associate at Innosight, leading engagements in the biotechnology, enterprise software, grocery, and financial services industries, among others. Rose Park Advisors’ other co-founder was Matt’s father, the late Professor Clayton Christensen of Harvard Business School, who developed “Disruptive Innovation,” one of the most influential business ideas of the early 21st century.

Matt received an MBA from Harvard Business School after graduating from Duke University with a BSc in economics and a BSE in civil engineering.

While at Duke, Matt won the NCAA men’s basketball championship in 2001 playing for coach Mike Krzyzewski. In 2002, Matt won the Coaches’ Award, given to the player best embodying the spirit of Duke Basketball, as well as the Dr. Deryl Hart Award (Top Scholar-Athlete).

Matt sits on the boards of several companies, including Booster Fuels, Fetch Package, innRoad, Biolite, and Nomi Health. When he’s not working, he can be found spending time with his children or serving in his church.
