Cam Landry has a long and varied work experience. In 2004, they worked as a Chainsaw Operator for 3-Keys Contracting. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Caregiver for Elderly at CSSS Vieille Capitale, a Soil Sampler (R&D) at Laboratoire Agro-Enviro-Lab, and an Environmental Inspector (internship) at the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment, and Fight against Climate Change. Cam also worked as an Urban Farmer (internship) at Les Urbainculteurs in 2010. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as an Environmental Inspector for Groupe Conseil UDA Inc. and from 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Waste Management Project Manager and Municipal Inspector of Buildings and Environment at MRC des Etchemins. In this role, they examined plans, drawings and site layouts for new buildings, building renovations and other proposed structures, studied applications and issued a range of permits and certificates, and received and processed complaints related to land-use by-laws. Cam also ensured compliance with municipal by-laws, organized and chaired the Urban Planning Advisory Committee, and conducted inspections resulting from planning and environmental laws and regulations. Finally, they developed a digital document storage system for easy retrieval of all municipal databases. Currently, Cam Landry is a Sales Consultant at Cloudpermit, a position they have held since 2022.

Cam Landry has a diverse educational background. Cam began their studies in 2001, earning their grade 12 diploma from Roberts Education Center in 2004. Cam then attended CEGEP - Francois-Xavier-Garneau from 2007 to 2010, studying Physical Rehabilitation Techniques. In 2010, they earned a Diploma in Agriculture and Environment from Institut de technologie agroalimentaire. From 2016 to 2017, they attended Academy ADAPT, earning a Certificate in Ecological Building Design, and Cégep de Matane, earning an ACS in Municipal Inspection of Building and Environment. Most recently, in 2019 they attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology, studying Architectural and Building Sciences/Technology.
